The Cambium × The Epicurean at Red Hill. There are weddings that follow a formula. And then there are weddings that follow a feeling. Isabella and Charlie’s day was always going to be the latter.

From the moment they came to us, it was clear that a single venue was never going to be enough. Not because they were difficult to please — quite the opposite. They simply knew what they wanted. Two properties. Two completely different energies. One seamless day that moved between them like a well-written story, each chapter better than the last.

We said yes before they finished the sentence.

The Cambium

The morning began at The Cambium — and if you’ve never had the pleasure of arriving at that property on a still day, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down without meaning to. Raw, quietly extraordinary, and entirely removed from the world outside its gates.

Isabella got ready onsite. There’s something about a bride preparing in the same space where she’ll say her vows — the morning feels longer, softer, more held. The Cambium has a particular quality of light that does something to the hours before a ceremony. It doesn’t rush anyone.

Then the rain came. And then, as if the day had been choreographed from somewhere above the clouds, it stopped. The sun came through. The ceremony began.

Standing in that setting, surrounded by the kind of natural beauty that no stylist could replicate, Isabella and Charlie said everything they needed to say. The land held the moment. The guests held their breath.

And then it was time to move.

The Transition

This is the part of a two-venue day that most people don’t think about until they’re in it — and the part we think about most.

The transition between The Cambium and The Epicurean Red Hill is not just a logistical moment. It’s a narrative one. The energy shifts. The anticipation builds. Guests who have just witnessed something intimate and still are now moving towards something larger, warmer, louder.

We manage every detail of that movement so that by the time the first guest walks through the doors at The Epicurean, the room is already ready. Already transformed. Already waiting to become the second half of a night nobody will forget.

The Epicurean Red Hill

If The Cambium is the quiet opening scene, The Epicurean is the film in full swing.

Long tables stretched across a space that somehow manages to feel both grand and intimate at once. Shared plates arriving in that unhurried, European way that turns strangers into friends before the second course. Speeches that emptied the room of every sound except laughter and the occasional quiet sob.

And then the dancing. The kind that starts tentatively and ends with nobody wanting to leave.

Isabella and Charlie’s guests will be talking about this one for years. Not because it was the biggest wedding they’ve attended, or the most elaborate. But because every single element of the day felt considered — chosen with intention, executed without a single visible seam.

We captured the day across digital photography, 35mm film, and videography, letting each medium do what it does best. Digital caught the movement — the quick hugs, the dance floor madness, the split-second expressions that fly past if you blink. Film slowed everything down. Each 35mm frame felt intentional, textured, full of warmth and imperfection — exactly matching the tone of the day. And video brought the whole thing to life: the cadence of the vows, the way voices cracked, the laughter that echoed long after the ceremony ended.
